About Us
Mosh2music has been created by 2 guys who stumbled upon each other in life, and became firm friends, partly due to their shared appreciation of and fascination in music. All the reviews you will read have been written by Craig or Dan.
Craig
Hi, I’m Craig, and I originally hail from Durban (Durb’s) on South Africa’s east coast. I grew up in the suburb of The Bluff which is right on the coastline and a stones throw away from some of the best surfing in Southern Africa. I've been living in London for the past 8 years and have not left yet. The attraction of Europe and it’s snow covered peaks keeps me here. Having met Dan through his girlfriend Rebecca, we have struck up a remarkable friendship. Besides music, my other interests are skiing, snowboarding and watching the southern hemisphere teams have a crack at the English.
Music has always been a passion of mine from my very first album, which was Depeche Mode’s “101” to my current collection of music CD’s, DVD’s and the odd tape, and music will always be a big part of life. I tend to have a soft spot for the magical sound of guitars and the passionate beats of drums. The spirit and the atmosphere of watching bands live is a remarkable experience, some bands have what it takes to have a massive stage presence while others tend to be a little disappointing, but they all have one thing in common - their passion for what they do, and that is to make music.
Choosing a top five is always very difficult and there are so many great bands out there that could be in anybody’s top five, but I have chosen my top five from bands I have always supported and from bands that I have seen live.

Dan
Hi, I’m Dan, originally from Bexleyheath in Kent, but I now live New Zealand with my wife Rebecca, who is from New Zealand. I’ve known Craig for a few years, we often meet up for a beer in and around London whenever we're both there, either in a local watering hole, or at a gig, festival or music event.
I enjoy travel, and on one trip spent 6 months backpacking around New Zealand and South America, although unfortunately for me whilst I was away one of my other interests, Millwall football club, decided to reach the FA Cup final. It has been pointed out to me that both the trip and the match were once-in-a-lifetime events, however I hope I get the opportunity to experience both events again in my life without having to choose between them.
I bought my first CD in my early teens with some money I’d received for my birthday, it was Dire Straits' "Brothers in Arms", and is a purchase which has inspired a varied album collection that has now grown to just shy of 750.
