http://www.mylo.tvMylo was born Myles MacInnes in 1973 on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. After graduating from Brasenose College, Oxford, with a degree in philosophy, psychology & physiology, Mylo quit studying for a philosophy Ph.D at UCLA to return home and produce music. Debut album “Destroy Rock & Roll” was released in 2004, on his own label, Breastfed Recordings, self produced on a computer in his own bedroom. It initially made number 26 in the UK Album chart, and produced singles such as "Drop the Pressure" (number 19 in the UK Singles chart), “Destroy Rock & Roll” (number 15) and “In My Arms” (number 13). In autumn 2005, the single "Dr. Pressure" (a mash-up of his own song “Drop The Pressure” and Miami Sound Machine's "Dr. Beat") peaked at number 3 on the UK singles chart, number 5 on the Irish Singles chart, and made the Top 10 of both the Hot Dance Airplay and Hot Dance Music/Club Play charts in the US. Mylo has provided remixes for Scissor Sisters ("Mary"), Amy Winehouse ("Pumps"), The Knife ("Take My Breathe Away"), The Killers ("Somebody Told Me"), and also Kylie Minogue's 2004 number 2 UK hit "I Believe in You" (a remix which went to number 3 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the US). He has contributed an exclusive song, "Mars Needs Women", to the War Child compilation album “Help: A Day In The Life”, and his track "Otto's Journey" was used in a television commercial for Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing.
