Just Jinjer (formerly known as Just Jinger) are a South African rock group who are now based in California.

The band's debut album, “All Comes Round”, released in 1997, became the best-selling rock album in South African history. Second album, 1998’s “Something for Now” was certified gold just 3 weeks after its release. Both albums eventually achieved platinum certification.

“Here’s To You” followed in 1999, and “Strange World” made it 4 albums in 4 years in 2000, before a “Greatest Hits” copilation summed up their work to date in 2001.

Limited copies of both “Collectors 2003”, and “Howzit” (also 2003) were released, before a “Bootleg” album, a support slot with Counting Crows in several arena shows, and also their own sold out tours of London and Dubai, in 2004

In 2006 Just Jinger changed the spelling of their name to 'Just Jinjer', to avoid having the second word in their name pronounced incorrectly. The same year they released a new eponymous album with this new spelling, consisting of 13 songs including both new and old material.

Just Jinjer are the number 1 selling rock band in South African history, with over 240,000 albums sold.
