“American Idiot” has a cover illustration showing a clenched fist holding onto a heart-shaped hand grenade - what does this tell us? Are we going to be in for the ride of our lives or will we experience an explosive “Homecoming”? Well, you can be the judge of that - the freedom of choice is yours. A truly remarkable turnaround from one of the hottest punk rock bands. One can only love this brilliant album. There are so many remarkable tracks on ”American Idiot” that it's hard to decide once again what to choose, but I would suggest that you have a listen to the whole masterpiece and then listen again, as you will be hearing something that is totally mind blowing.
