Curtain Call - The Hits
Artist: Eminem
Album Released: December, 2005
Review by Craig:
‘Yo yo it’s like this. This white brother thinks he’s the king of rap This skinny white ass from Detroit is no-ones fool Yo Dog, keep it real.’ Yeah OK, my attempt at rap is pretty bad but this greatest hits album from Eminem more than makes up for my lack of talent. “Curtain Call – The Hits” will make you think twice about life and the uphill battles people have. Eminem's songs and lyrics portray real life events and stories - whether it’s verbally ripping his mother apart or putting down politicians, Eminem's not afraid to make his views known. One of my favourite tracks on this album has to be the live recorded version of “Stan” featuring none other than the musical genius of Elton John, what a truly amazing combination. Also featuring is a brand new track called “When I’m Gone”. If you’re a fan of Eminem then you should already have a copy of this album, if you’re not a fan I would say pity because you missing out on some pure magic.
