Courtney Taylor-Taylor and his crew from Portland, Oregon have come up with a mixed bag of an album whose song titles are devoid of capitals. There are some gems - “bohemian like you”, with it’s infectious chorus, is the outstanding song on the album, the slide guitar and Taylor- Taylor’s lazy drawl make “country leaver” a cool, funky song, and I enjoyed strumming aimlessly to “get off”. However, in my opinion the rest of the tracks are all pretty average, the low point being “sleep”, which had a good go at putting me to sleep…
